2026 First Period Scientific Research Project Call Calendar and Implementation Principles

Dear Researchers,

The 2026 First Term Scientific Research Projects Call Calendar and Implementation Principles, conducted by the Şırnak University Scientific Research Projects Coordination Unit , were determined by the BAP Commission's decision dated 24.04.2026 and numbered 26/03-01 . The application calendar, project types, budget limits, evaluation processes, and detailed principles regarding applications are included in the attached file.

This period's announcement specifies support limits for different project types, including Student-Focused Projects, Master's and Doctoral Thesis Projects, Fast Track Projects, Regular Research Projects, Priority Area Projects, and Industry Collaboration Projects . Furthermore, project leaders with high-quality publication output from previous projects are allowed to apply for increased budgets under the Regular Research Projects category.

In the increased budget application, an additional budget of 30% for SCI-SSCI Q1, 20% for SCI-SSCI Q2, and 10% for SCI-SSCI Q3-Q4 can be requested, depending on the quality of the publication resulting from the principal investigator's previously completed project. In this context, if the principal investigator has produced more than one publication from their previous project, the increased budget request will only be evaluated based on one publication .

It is important for our researchers to carefully review the new application principles introduced this term, especially regarding the increased project budget , application requirements , support limits according to project types , conference support limits, peer review processes , principles for employing fellows , procurement and expenditure items .
