Our Esteemed Researcher;

The project entitled HarvestMate: Autonomous Tomato Harvesting in Greenhouses with an Artificial Intelligence-Supported Twin-Robot System”, led by Dr. Mehmet GÜL, a faculty member of the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, has been awarded funding by TÜBİTAK.

The project aims to develop an autonomous tomato harvesting system based on an artificial intelligence-supported twin-robot architecture for greenhouse environments. The innovative system is expected to enhance agricultural productivity, reduce labor requirements, and contribute significantly to the advancement of smart agriculture technologies in Türkiye.

We sincerely congratulate Dr. Mehmet GÜL and all members of the research team for this outstanding achievement and wish them continued success in their future scientific endeavors.
