BAP Scholarship Amounts for Master’s and PhD Students Have Been Updated at Şırnak University

Dear Researchers; 

Scholarship amounts for Master’s and PhD students who will participate in projects conducted under the Scientific Research Projects Coordination Unit (BAP) at Şırnak University have been updated. In accordance with the decision of the University Executive Board dated 14 May 2026 and numbered 26/6-09, new scholarship upper limits for graduate students participating in BAP projects have been determined.

Based on the scholarship upper limits announced by the Council of Higher Education (YÖK) for 2026, the monthly scholarship upper limit for Master’s students with thesis has been updated to 7,500 TL, while the monthly scholarship upper limit for PhD students has been increased to 12,500 TL for those participating in BAP-funded projects at Şırnak University.

This update aims to encourage greater participation of graduate students in scientific research projects, strengthen the university’s research capacity, and support the academic development of young researchers.

Attention to our valued researchers; additional budget requests may be submitted for scholarship students to be employed in ongoing projects as well as projects currently in the application stage. Project coordinators who plan to employ scholarship students within the scope of their projects are encouraged to submit the necessary budget revision requests through the BAP Coordination Unit.
