Dear Researchers,
The project entitled “Development of Renewable-Resource-Based Biodegradable Composite Conductive Films for Flexible Electronics and Energy Systems,” to be carried out at our University, has been awarded funding under the TÜBİTAK 1002-A Rapid Support Program.
Led by Asst. Prof. Dr. Dilan ALP, the project aims to develop a new generation of environmentally friendly, biodegradable, and electrically conductive composite films using renewable biological resources and biological waste. The potential applications of the developed materials will be investigated particularly in flexible electronics and low-power energy systems.
The project is also significant for its aim of transforming biological waste into high-value-added advanced materials. In this context, research will focus both on the valorization of waste resources and on the development of more sustainable alternatives to conventional electronic materials.
Azize ACAR, a student in the Department of Energy Science and Technologies at our Institute, will also take part in the project as a scholarship student and contribute to the research activities to be conducted within the scope of the project.
We congratulate Asst. Prof. Dr. Dilan ALP, the Principal Investigator of the project awarded funding by TÜBİTAK, as well as the researchers involved in the project and our scholarship student. We hope that the project will make valuable contributions to our University, the scientific community, and the advancement of sustainable technologies.
