The scientific studies carried out within the scope of BAP projects at our University continue to yield qualified outcomes in the form of international publications. In this context, articles produced from the projects of three of our faculty members have been published in prestigious journals indexed in SCI-Expanded.

The study titled “Diesel engine performance assessment using carbon nanotubes in ternary biodiesel/propanol/diesel blends,” produced from the project titled “Establishment of a diesel engine test stand and experimental investigation of the effects of alternative fuels on emissions and performance,” conducted by Assist. Prof. Yahya Çelebi, was published in the journal Petroleum Science and Technology.

The article titled “Assessing the Potential of Olive Stone Powder as a Bitumen Biopolymer Through Physical, Chemical, and Rheological Characterization,” prepared within the framework of the project titled “Usability of olive stone in bituminous binders as a modifier and anti-aging agent,” carried out by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sedat Özcanan and his team, was published in the journal Polymers.

The study titled “Using machine learning for crack detection in beams under limited experimental data: The role of sliding window augmentation,” produced from the project titled “Vibration isolation and crack analysis in structural system beams,” conducted under the supervision of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Abdullah Turan, was published in the journal Journal of Vibration and Control.

The transformation of research projects supported at our University into international publications is a significant indicator that our scientific production capacity and academic quality continue to grow stronger.

We congratulate our faculty members and their research teams, who add value to our University through their academic achievements, and wish them continued success.
